The judge agreed with consumer advocates, including 26 attorneys general, who argued it wasn’t a good deal for the owners.
That decision means Civic Hybrid owners have a chance for a settlement or verdict “that actually gives them some value,” said Michael Kirkpatrick, a lawyer for Public Citizen, one of the groups that opposed the settlement.
